Moving in

So big changes coming up! I am moving from my lovely room with the big window down into the deep reaches of the basement. Since the basement is a 70's style dungeon, we're remodeling. Believe me, it  needs it. The wallpaper is not pretty and so dusty, I got a lovely reaction to it.
So don't try peeling wallpaper off walls without some type of decent oxygen mask.

So here's the thing.  My Mom did not like my idea for doing the bathroom this way:

She doesn't think the periodic table of elements is a suitable shower curtain. Sheldon has one, why can't I?!
.... And just in case you're wondering, she also said no to the 'Top 500 words on the SAT' curtain too.

Rats.

So while looking for cool room themes, I came across these lovelies:

...Very puerile I know, but I liked the wall mural in the background.

And if that wasn't enough comic junk for ya, just try this! Guaranteed to make anyone dizzy if stared at long enough.

 I had no intention whatsoever of bringing Star Trek into this at all! I'm on a superhero kick and wasn't thinking about starships or Vulcans or anything like that!

..Promise.

But then, I found this:

This is over the top. Way, way over the top. I could not have a room like this at all. It was still cool though and I laughed really hard when I saw the colors of the random water bottles they have sitting on the table. Subtle color coordination let me tell ya.

But here's the.... awkward part. *Cough*

I could go for this. It's pretty sweet. Though Nimoy is rather creepy. I'd rather have the Zachary Quinto one.

  If not having a freaky old Nimoy with eyes that look everywhere in the room isn't disturbing enough, try this:

*Snicker* You could mess with that.....  Spock got caught halfway between those swishy doors and.. um..  You can let your imagination fill you in on the rest of that story.
