Alright, I'll confess!!!!
...I have a new obsession.
It's great. It's wonderful. It's brobdingnagian.
I have fallen in love with the brilliant, devious, oh so handsome Sherlock Holmes.
Not the new version, mind you. (Please no more Robert Downey Jr.!!!) But the newer version by the BBC. It's pretty cool. And creepy. And Moriarty is all wrong.
But I like the books even better. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was brilliant!! I was talking to my Latin teacher today and she said that some Sherlockians have the theory that Sherlock had aspergers. Isn't that an intriguing idea? He was so OCD over things, that it might be possible. I love his thoughts on exercise. Less is more! Ya know, I'm pretty sure if I was living in Sherlock's time, we would be pretty tight. ;) We seem to have similar personalities. But if Holmes and I weren't best of buds, I'm pretty sure Watson would come through for me.
Watson is adorable.
It's a known fact.
I love his character and the way he is always there for Holmes. And the fact that he has a limp just increases his adorableness. Oh, and he's a doctor. Have I mentioned that I love doctors?
So to help you get into my Sherlockian mood, I have some pictures for you. And I realized I need to start sourcing these... so all are found on deviantart.com. If you want links, ask me.
Give it a moment. You'll get it.
This is Watson. Feel free to 'awww'
This is the BBC version of Sherlock Holmes. He looks the exact same in real life.
Oh, and can someone explain this to me? I don't know why I think it's so funny.
Ok, well that's all I have to say on the subject at present. Now, for Sheerluck (Tee hee hee)
One final message,
THE DANCING MEN ALPHABET!!!!
*Collapses in a fit of nerd glee*
Enjoy!
Hahaha!
ReplyDelete*awwwes at Watson*
That was awesome. I had to say it out loud to get it. Sorry I can't help on the scarf one; I don't get it either...
Maybe they are shocked that the scarves are 40% off but yet they have 100% around their neck?!
ReplyDeleteHuh?
ReplyDeleteOh wait. I get it!
